Extensive research has shown that out-of-home communication is becoming increasingly important as this form of media develops rapidly across the world.

The most effective communication in larger indoor environments occurs from a distance of 5 to 50 meters.

No suitable solution

The traditional plasma and LCD displays cannot communicate effectively in these situations due to their size and brightness.

Other LED solutions require assembly and a complicated installation process, so there has not been an out-of-the-box solution for this that also offers a long lifetime.

With this in mind, Philips Vidiwall has developed the Candeo range of displays, designed specifically to bridge this gap.

1. Location

The Philips Candeo is sufficiently  bright to provide clear viewing in even the brightest ambient conditions.

There are 3 models in the range – Candeo 4-120i (576 x 324 pixels), Candeo 6-120i (384 x 216 pixels) and Candeo 10-120i (256 x 144 pixels) – thus there will always be a Candeo suitable for the required viewing distance.

2. Installation

Using a large screen has never been easier - you literally take the display out of its box and plug it in! The 150º viewing angle, both horizontally and vertically, means the Philips Candeo has a profoundly far-reaching effect, even in large indoor spaces.

3. Impact

Philips Anti-Solarisation Processing™ (ASP™) is a unique feature of Philips LED video screens. Using Philips proprietary 45 bit color rendering, it completely removes the sparkling and color banding (solarisation) commonly seen in darker picture areas of LED displays.

Philips SmoothPix™ guarantees the ultimate in homogeneity by electronically eliminating differences in brightness and color between LEDs to provide a perfectly uniform display image.
